Thanks for the suggestion!

I thought that we already had a GitLab issue to add microphone and
camera to a future feature of the Persistent Storage, but I couldn't
find it.

So I expended the scope of #7246:

I don't think that we should disable these by default, but we could make
these opt-out through the Persistent Storage.

They also seem to fit well together.
