Note that we do not support installing Tails with Rufus.
It might not work at all, or worse: they might seem to work, but
produce a USB stick that does *not* behave like Tails should

OK, that's expected.

That's very strange as Tails 3.16 was *not* signed in a manner that
a EFI boot loader with Secure Boot enabled could verify. Anyway,

I think that's a side effect of using Rufus.
I recommend you retry using Etcher, as per our documentation :)
