Yes.

I tested using a Debian package built from 0.2.10 + the (tiny) Debian
patch + your patch, see 5596c4b61b4cb in the devel branch.

On the other hand, I had a hard time importing your patch into quilt
since it was conflicting with the remove-controls one, so I may have
messed up and built from dirty source. I'll try re-building it more
carefully.

I'm no expert in this field either. I'll wait for the package to be
rebuilt and double-checked before investigating any further.
