بيان صادر عن مشروع "غزة ويب" تنديداً بالقرار الأمريكي الجائر بحق مجموعة
(Autistici/Inventati)
في الوقت الذي تستمر فيه حرب الإبادة والتدمير الممنهج ضد شعبنا الفلسطيني
في قطاع غزة، وفي ظل المساعي المحمومة لخنق أي صوت أو جهد يساند حق
الفلسطينيين في الحياة والتواصل، طالعتنا الإدارة الأمريكية بقرار عبثي
جديد؛ إدراج أصدقائنا وشركائنا من المتطوعين والناشطين الرقميين الإيطاليين
في مجموعة (Autistici/Inventati) على ما يُسمى بقوائم "المنظمات الإرهابية".
إننا في مشروع "غزة ويب" نرفض ونستنكر بأشد العبارات هذا التصنيف الأمريكي
المليء بالمغالطات والاتهامات الكاذبة. إن هذا القرار لا يستهدف مجموعة من
المبرمجين فحسب، بل هو استهداف مباشر وحقيقي للجهود الرامية إلى كسر العزلة
الرقمية المفروضة على قطاع غزة، ويهدد بقطع شريان الاتصال بالإنترنت عن
آلاف الأشخاص الذين يعتمدون على البنية التحتية التي بنيناها معاً.
لسنوات طويلة، وبدلاً من جني الأرباح أو خدمة الشركات الاحتكارية، اختار
هؤلاء المتطوعون في (Autistici/Inventati) تكريس وقتهم وجهدهم لدعم مشروعنا
بالشراكة مع منظمة (ACS Italia). معاً، قمنا ببناء "أشجار الشبكة"، وهي
نقاط اتصال محلية وبدائية ساعدت في إعادة ربط مناطق في غزة بالعالم الخارجي
حينما قرر الاحتلال إغراقنا في الظلام.
إن الإدارة الأمريكية، اليائسة سياسياً، تحاول اليوم تشتيت الانتباه عن
شراكتها في العنف والحروب عبر شيطنة النشطاء الرقميين. لوائح الاتهام التي
ساقتها وزارتا الخزانة والخارجية الأمريكيتان تثير السخرية؛ فمناهضة
الفاشية والرأسمالية ليستا إرهاباً، والاحتجاج من أجل حقوق الإنسان ليس
إرهاباً، وتوفير برمجيات حرة وأدوات تواصل آمنة تحمي النشطاء من الملاحقة
والقمع هو حق إنساني أصيل، وليس عملاً إجرامياً.
نحن نؤمن بأن وسائل الإعلام والتواصل لا ينبغي أن تكون حكراً على الحكومات
والشركات الكبرى. نحن شركاء في الإدارة الذاتية، لا نتلقى تمويلاً من أي
جهة حكومية أو راعية، ولا نتقاضى أجراً مقابل ما نفعل. مشروعنا يحيى بالجهد
البشري والتبرعات الطوعية ممن يؤمنون بأن حرية الوصول إلى المعلومات هي حق
للجميع.
رسالتنا للإدارة الأمريكية ولكل من يسعى لإسكاتنا واضحة: لن نتوقف. سنواصل
بناء شبكاتنا، وسنستمر في الدفاع عن حقنا في التواصل بحرية. البرمجيات
الحرة والتضامن الإنساني أقوى من أي قرارات أو عقوبات.

The Internet is No One's Monopoly
A Statement by the Gazaweb Project Condemning the Unjust US Decision
Against the (Autistici/Inventati) Collective
As the war of annihilation and systematic destruction against our
Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip continues, and amidst frantic
efforts to stifle any voice or initiative supporting the Palestinian
right to life and communication, the US administration has issued a new,
absurd decision: designating our friends and partners—the Italian
digital activists and volunteers of the (Autistici/Inventati)
collective—on its so-called "terrorist organizations" list.
We at the Gazaweb project reject and condemn in the strongest terms this
US designation, which is fraught with fallacies and false accusations.
This decision does not merely target a group of programmers; it is a
direct and real assault on efforts aimed at breaking the digital
isolation imposed on the Gaza Strip. It threatens to sever the internet
lifeline for thousands of people who rely on the infrastructure we built
together.
For many years, rather than seeking profit or serving monopolistic
corporations, the volunteers at (Autistici/Inventati) chose to dedicate
their time and effort to support our project in partnership with the NGO
(ACS Italia). Together, we built "network trees"—rudimentary, local
hotspots that helped reconnect areas in Gaza to the outside world when
the occupation decided to plunge us into darkness.
Today, a politically desperate US administration is attempting to
distract from its complicity in violence and wars by demonizing digital
activists. The indictments put forward by the US Departments of Treasury
and State are ridiculous. Anti-fascism and anti-capitalism are not
terrorism. Protesting for human rights is not terrorism. Providing free
software and secure communication tools that protect activists from
persecution and repression is a fundamental human right, not a criminal act.
We believe that media and communication should not be monopolized by
governments and massive corporations. We are partners in
self-management; we receive no funding from any government or corporate
sponsor, and we do not get paid for what we do. Our project thrives on
human effort and voluntary donations from those who believe that free
access to information is a right for all.
Our message to the US administration and to anyone who seeks to silence
us is clear: We will not stop. We will continue to build our networks,
and we will continue to defend our right to communicate freely. Free
software and human solidarity are stronger than any decrees or sanctions.
The internet is no one's monopoly.
