Dear pilar,
I’m writing to share our new documentary, a major investigation exposing Britain’s deep involvement in the Gaza genocide, centred on previously hidden details of the spy-flight programme.
This film contains evidence that could have serious political repercussions for Keir Starmer’s government. Drawing on years of Declassified’s reporting on the spy missions, our editor Phil Miller and I uncovered findings that significantly expand what the public knows about the UK’s role. The documentary:
* Captures the first-ever footage of outsourced US spy planes leased by the RAF, allowing us to reveal up to 116 additional surveillance missions than could previously be confirmed.
* Follows our reporting on the ground at British army bases in Cyprus, where base police appeared to know about our presence before we arrived.
* Reveals newly unearthed documents showing that these high-tech aircraft could generate ultra-high-resolution images of the Gaza Strip and, crucially, share them with Israel in real time.
* Exposes a possible connection between a 2024 surveillance flight and a massacre in Nuseirat, after a mistake from one of the pilots.
* Includes an exclusive interview with the family of a British aid worker killed by Israel, at the very same time a UK-linked spy flight was airborne.
* Exposes the silence of major broadcasters and academic experts, many of whom told us they had “never heard of any such flights,” despite the scale of the operation.
This documentary is the most comprehensive evidence yet of the UK’s support for Israel during the atrocities in Gaza. The public deserves to know what their tax money is really being spent on and the impact of sharing this work widely cannot be overstated.
