Kenneth Wrede:
>**GPG keys:** It seems very difficult to import other users' keys. Both Kleopatra and the terminal/console give error messages. This is a crucial issue for me.
do you have more details?
I can import keys just fine.
As an example, I could lookup for boyska@??? and import my key.
I can also import /usr/share/keyrings/debian-archive-keyring.pgp
both from kleopatra and using the terminal.
>**7z:** I seem unable to unpack archives. I'm not sure why; I think it lacks write access. The same archives work outside Tails. It does not matter if file-roller is used or if I use the command “7z x <archive> <outputdir>.” This is also important to me.
similarly, can you give us more details so we can reproduce the problem?
This is what I did:
Using the terminal, I did
cp /usr/share/libreoffice/share/config/images_colibre.zip ~/
This is just to simulate the download of a file.
Then, I opened _Files_, double-clicked on images_colibre.zip, and it got
unarchived. If, instead, I do right-click → Open with → File roller, I
can explore files before extracting them.

What do you mean with "search for Files"? Files is present in the very
first screen of the Apps menu, so instead of doing Places →Home you can
do Apps → Files, which feel similar to me. You can also open the
activity menu (by going on the top-left corner or pressing Win), then
select the files below. Or press Win+9, though we do not commit on
preserving Dash shortcuts as they currently are.
But indeed, if you were doing Places → Downloads then yes, this requires
one extra click now. See
https://gitlab.tails.boum.org/tails/tails/-/issues/21086 for the
motivation behind this change.
