THE BALTIC SEA - A SEA OF PEACE! How can the peace movement in the countries bordering the Baltic Sea promote the peaceful perspective of an effective and common security architecture? How can peace-loving people in the countries bordering the Baltic Sea work together to free the Baltic Sea from the grip of NATO and make the Baltic Sea a sea of peace?
Overview:
I. Welcome, INTRODUCTORY REMARKS and program overview (14:00 - 14:40)
II. Panel: MILITARIZATION OF THE BALTIC SEA & ARCTIC (14:45 - 16:30), with contributions from Finland, Rostock, Schleswig-Holstein, Norway, Sweden, followed by a discussion.
III. Panel: COMMON SECURITY, ECONOMIC & ECOLOGICAL COOPERATION (16:40 - 17:25), with contributions from Germany and St. Petersburg, followed by a discussion
IV. RESUME and outlook, NATO counter summit (17:30-18:10)
