We need to certain that the TCD is as large as required to serve it's function. Larger than that is just "noise".

This sort of graphic may well benefit new Tails users, but regular users may quickly tire of them. I certainly have.

We should be asking, "why should it persist?" rather than why not. If persistance doesn't serve a purpose, it should not persist.

Again, let's ask if this behavior helps the user. If it does not, everything should "just work" after a system suspend, sleep or network interruption.
