Hello the Tails team,
I have installed the version twice.
First by installing through a USB 2 card reader at 4.6 MBs.
Secondly through Silverstone products ECU 01 and FP 56 card reader using USB 3 at 46 MBs,
(sadly Tails won't boot from the 3 USB 3 sockets on the FP 56 bay expansion accessory)
Both installs were onto a Kingston Hyper X USB 3 fdd. The second attempt was super quick!
The results were perfect and very easy.
When there is a major update of Tails, like from 3.0. to 4.0, can I assume we will we have to back up the contents of the PV? I know, I've learnt the hard way!!
I notice the following on the PDF 'Install from Linux'-
All the data on this USB stick will be lost.
I would like to play cds on my Tails os again one day! It doesn't see either of my re-writers. They work in 3 other linux os's.
Hope this feed back helps.
