OK, thanks for testing! I'm glad the slider works again!

Now that you can adjust brightness again, the "boots with maximum
brightness" problem becomes much less critical. We're not going to add
per-machine, Tails-specific quirks about it, so if you want to have
this fixed you'll need to go upstream (likely Linux), starting with
reproducing on a very recent kernel.
