Done.
A new discovery suggests this is an Intel graphics driver/hardware issue. Tails 3.2 rc~1 fails to boot this laptop in Troubleshooting Mode. Boot progresses normally until screen begins flashing at about a 2Hz rate and scrolls repeated error message:
[timestamp] intel ips 0000:00:1f.6: failed to disable graphics turbo
Repeats forever, only timestamp changes.
Pressing Ctl+Alt+Del interrups but leaves system hanging with a blank, backlighted screen. Hard power off required.
