Hi folks,
The french Python conference PyconFr will held in Toulouse, Fr the 21st
to 24 September:
https://www.pycon.fr/2017/
They have Sprints Sessions for People wanting to introduce new
contributors to projects, collaboratively work on new features etc.
I thought you may be interested to propose one about Tails.
Few other informations:
- While not necessary, its better if the persons managing the workshop
are able to speak a bit of french, not only it will attract more people,
but the organizers also like to have things in french to differentiate
from the bunch of other python conferences.
- Funding can be provided: up to 75% of the travel cost, limited to 200€
in Europe and 400€ outside of Europe. Please just note that it is
independent of the proposals and have to be asked separately (because
you don't need to make a proposal to be funded)
- I am unable to find the cfp deadline, but i guess, it is safer to
consider to have until end of July (Maybe middle of August...).
Let me know if you make a proposal or need any other information :).
Cheers,
