Dear Tails Project,

Would it be possible to license (or clearly license if it's not
already) the content of tails.boum.org with a non-limiting Creative
Commons license, such as CC-BY-SA or CC0?

I have interest in reusing some of the verbiage from the 'Warning'
page [1] because of its importance for SecureDrop landing pages. In an
effort to directly educate any potential whistleblower and minimize
network adversary traffic analysis, it is important to minimize or
eliminate the amount of interesting links that users visit in addition
to the landing page. While it is ideal that a potential whistleblower
download and use Tor Browser or Tails from a public WiFi location
prior to reading deeply into a SecureDrop landing page, administrators
must also take into account that users do not make ideal judgments
simply because they are ideal.

I've published draft "advantages and warnings" information [2] that
can and should be used by organizations adopting SecureDrop. Freedom
of the Press Foundation also has published a draft landing page [3]
with similar but less-specific information. Your 'Warning' page uses
clear and effective language specific to Tails. others should be
encouraged to adopt and reuse high quality information since
organizations running SecureDrop advertise the use of Tails to
minimize certain risks.

A related effect of licensing your semantic and graphic content as
CC-BY-SA or CC0 is that it would become compatible with Wikipedia's
requirements (non-commercial restrictions are not compatible with
Wikipedia) making it possible to copy verbatim language there, too.
