[Tails-dev] Tails vs portable HDD

Hello,
I am Tails user and one of the main problems of the system is little space
on the disk persistence. I have a portable HDD (500GB), but I can not
install the Tails in this HDD. Is this a compatibility issue or a
limitation of the system? Sorry for my English.
