Maybe there is a Tails policy regarding gender pronouns? I try to avoid
gender but many times is impossible and it would be great to have a
general rule.
What is the policy for other languages to do it? What is the policy in
english? I have seen different approaches in different documents.
I really dislike s/he, sounds unnatural at least in Spanish. I think we
should use female pronouns when talking about users, like when we are
talking about an example user. I use also 'if a person wants to do
this, must do this other thing' (in spanish person is female, so the
gender of the phrase goes in female)
Spanish is that kind of language where even things have gender! Chairs
and tables are female, and kitchen too, but also guns (go figure!)
