Hi,

after speaking a bit with matsa, we came up with the following
proposal that we started implementing right away. Stay tuned for the
Git stuff.

First, let's assume that most transation "teams" (or the lack thereof)
will use Transifex.

1. Make it clear what workflow must be used for language L
(... or set up a team, and move to Git if desired)
=> improve [[contribute/how/translate]] [[!tag todo/documentation]]

2. For existing teams that use Git and want to go on:

   a. Worst case: minimize time wasted by unknown contributors on
      translations done on Transifex but never imported.

      - regularly contact Transifex translators (listed in the
        "Last-translator"), over email or within the Transifex
        interface, to ask them to join the team and suggest them to
        share the team's preferred workflow

   b. Best case: work that happens on Git and Transifex is manually
      merged both ways whenever the translation team feels like it.
      Looks hard, enjoy, good luck.

Cheers,
