sorry if I have missed your explanations somewhere,
but I'd like to understand in details why the MAT code depends on
Python 2.7, and what I/we could do on this front.
(I know you know this, but for the record, let me make clear this
makes the current MAT code incompatible with current Debian stable,
and hence with current Tails.)
