> Interface is a practitioner journal of social movements research written by activists and engaged researchers. Our first five issues (2009-11) have covered movement knowledge, the relationship between civil society and social movements, crisis and revolutionary transformations, movement media and repression. Our goal is to help movements learn from each other’s struggles, by developing analyses and knowledge that allow lessons to be learned from specific movement processes and experiences and translated into a form useful for other movements. Interface is multilingual and open-access (free) and encourages a range of formats such as activist interviews, action and practice notes, key documents etc. as well as more conventional articles and reviews.
