Looks like the two modifications work perfectly.
Italian Keyboard now work both in text and graphical
apps, and 3g keys (at least a couple of them) work
flawlessly.
3g depends, of course, by the device list used by
usb-modeswitch, so very recent 3g keys can have
problems.
Thanks for the quick correction; the usability for
a generic Italian user is now 1000% respect 0.6.2.
One last note; when shutting down, on RC1 & RC2 the
last line I see is "starting new kernel". Is this
OK and the memory is wiped or not? If yes, maybe some
more reassuring message can be prepended
