Das Drag Festival Berlin findet vom 5.-8. Juni statt!
Markiert euch
den Termin im Kalender und kommt kucken, mitmachen und
feiern:
Eröffnet wird am Do den 5. Juni mit Konzert von Hank
Bobbit und
Ausstellung von Debra Kate. Am Fr und Sa gibt es
allerfeinste
Performances aus ganz Europa und Israel zu sehen,
workshops zum
Tittex-nähen, Vollbartkleben, drag für Einsteigende
und einen ganz
besonderen Workshop von Diane Torr, Drag King Koryphäe
der ersten
Stunde - in dem es darum geht, einen jemand
nahestehenden Mann, der
gestorben ist, durch eine Performance zu ehren.
Außerdem wird am Fr den 6. Juni die internationale
Lage von drag
beleuchtet, auf einer Podiumsdiskussion, die die
Entwicklungen und
Bedingungen in den verschiedenen Ländern nachzeichnet.
Die Party steigt am 7. Juni im legendären SO36,
auflegen werden
Gloria Viagra, Cisnita, Tina Pornflakes und Snivlem
(Wien). Auch hier
wieder internationale Showacts.
Am So den 8. Juni gibt es ein drag extreme
photoshooting im
öffentlichen Raum, zu dem alle herzlich eingeladen
sind,
chill&grill
zum relaxen und während des ganzen Festivals immer
wunderschöne Drag
Visuals.

Dear all,
in Berlin the Drag Festival will take place June
5-8th! Mark tha date
and come see, participate and party -
the free opening on Thu June 5th shines with a Hank
Bobbit concert
and exhibition by Debra Kate. On Fri and Sat the
finest performances
from all over Europe and Israel, workshops in
binder-sewing, big
beard facial hair, drag for beginners and a very
special workshop by
Diane Torr, luminary drag king for 20 years - on
celebrating a
deceived blood or soul brother by performing him!
In addition we´ll have a closer look at drag in
international
comparison. A panel discussion on developments and
contexts in the
participating countries takes place on Fri June 6th.
It´s is english/
German and free!
Party in legendary SO36 on sat June 7th, on the
turntables Gloria
Viagra, Cisnita, Tina Pornflakes and Snivlem (Vienna)
- again you can
enjoy international showacts.
On sun June 8th we have a drag extreme photoshoot in
public space,
where everyone is welcome to participate, a chill&
grill to relax,
and during the whole festival oh so beautiful drag
visuals.
