In 2004, the year of Slovenia's accession to the
European Union the
annual
International Festival of Contemporary Arts CITY OF
WOMEN will present
its
10th anniversary edition
Past Transition - Welcome to the Future?
We will embark on a twofold exploration, presenting
futuristic
scenarios,
visions and dreams as articulated in different
artistic genres, such as
science fiction movies, web based art, performance and
video. At the
occasion of the 10th edition we will also review
achievements and
results,
as well as think about innovative future strategies
for best promoting
women in the field of arts and culture.
