Bodylab presents: Face_W.s.l.o.t. Woman See Lot of
Things
Invitation to the premiere of Face_W.s.l.o.t., the
latest project of
Bodylab
Art Foundation, by sound and performance artist Meira
Asher.
Face_Woman See Lot of Things is an interdisciplinary
art project that
tells
The story of three female ex-child combatants in
West-Africa. The
project
takes the form of multidisciplianry art installation,
as well as the
release of a CD-Book.
The opening will take place on Friday 7 May at
Kunstencentrum Vooruit
in
Gent.
The premiere will be accompanied by a discussion
evening, where various
Speakers will provide some background to the theme of
this exhibition.
Also, a
CD-Single will be presented, a pre-release to the
CD-Book which will be
released on 17 October 2004.

Uitnodiging voor het nieuwste project van Bodylab Art
Foundation onder
leiding
van geluid- en performancekunstenaar Meira Asher.
Face_Woman See Lot of Things is een interdisciplinair
kunstproject dat
het
verhaal van drie vrouwelijke ex-kindsoldaten in
West-Afrika vertelt in
de vorm
van een multimedia-installatie waarin alle zintuigen
worden
aangesproken en de
uitgave van een cd-boek. De opening van dit project
vindt plaats op
vrijdag 7
mei in Kunstencentrum Vooruit in Gent.
De opening gaat vergezeld van een discussie avond,
waarin verschillende
sprekers een achtergond zullen geven op het thema van
deze
tentoonstelling.
Daarnaast vindt de presentatie plaats van de cd-single
die een
voorproefje
biedt op het complete cd-boek dat 17 oktober zal
verschijnen.
